Professionals with relevant experience can now begin medical studies even without a formal university entrance qualification, provided they meet certain requirements.

Studies Orientation

The University of Bonn offers students of various age groups a range of opportunities to get to know the university – from the Children’s University and science rallies to study preparation programs, there’s something for everyone. We support upper secondary school students and prospective students in their academic orientation, for example, by helping them assess their individual readiness for university and get acquainted with academic life.

What approximate costs can be expected during your studies? We provide an overview of the anticipated expenses and present options for financial support.

Are you planning to complete a clinical elective abroad, are you an international student, or would you like to gain experience abroad through the Erasmus program?

The University of Bonn’s Online Self-Assessments (OSA) are subject-specific study orientation tests that provide you with insights into the respective field of study.

If you would like to continue your studies in Bonn or resume a paused program, you have to apply for a place in the respective higher semester.
