Workshop Mass Spectrometry in Life Sciences
We are continuing our series of workshops for graduate students this fall. The workshops primarily aims at PhD students of the relevant BIGS.
We will cover the theory of mass spectrometry, hardware components, methods, and data analysis. A focus will be on peptides and proteins but we will discuss all sample types relevant to workshop participants. There will be some hands-on sample preparation to gain an understanding of critical characteristics of mass spectrometric samples and an introduction to the LC/MS equipment at the Core Facility Analytcal Proteomics.
