The Faculty Assembly

The Faculty Assembly is the central body in which changes and developments in the Medical Faculty are communicated. Assemblies are organiced twice per semester and are open to all members of the faculty.

The Faculty Council

The Faculty Council is entrusted with deciding on the structural and development plans of the Faculty. Its members are:

Dean as chairman with advisory vote
Vice-Deans and Managing Directors with advisory vote
Medical Director/Chairman of the Executive Board with advisory vote
Business Director / Vice Chair(wo)man of the Executive Board with advisory vote
Gender Equality Representative with advisory vote
Eight representatives of the group of university lecturers
Three representatives of the group of academic employees
Four representatives of the student group

The election of representatives from among the university teachers and scientific staff takes place every two years, the election of student members annually. The Faculty Council meets once a month during the lecture period.

In accordance with § 25 of the election regulations for the election to the Faculty Council of the Faculty of Medicine (Amtl. Bek. der Universität Bonn, 39. Jg.- Nr. 42 vom 23. September 2009), the election results for the term of office from April 2026 to March 2027 are published below. The term of office of the student members covers the period from April 2026 to March 2027.
