The use of our core facility is subject to a fee.

Fee Structure

The fees are based on the measurement time used, usually per hour and are billed every half hour.

User Categories and Pricing

When listing the costs to be reimbursed, a distinction is made between the follwing user categories:

- Internal Users
- External Scientific Users
- Other External Users

Within these three status groups, the same usage costs apply to all users. The prices also depend on the status of the users, in accordance with the respective legal and tax requirements.

Included Costs

The usage fees include project-specific ancillary costs. For external users, personnel costs for basic operation, service and maintenance contracts, maintenance costs, depreciation and reinvestment costs are also included.

Pricing Details

Internal Users (University of Bonn)

The prices for the use of the scanner for internal users (members of the University of Bonn) are based on the DFG's flat rates (see DFG form 55.04 “Notes on equipment usage costs and equipment centers”) and the specifications listed there. Accordingly, the costs currently amount to €150 per hour, which corresponds to the DFG's eligible flat rate.

External Users

For all other users, the fees are calculated according to actual expenditure.
It will be necessary to conclude a contract for the cooperation.
