Welcome
The Institute for Midwifery Science is dedicated to advancing midwifery science through comprehensive research and high-quality teaching. Our current focus is on the dual bachelor's degree program in midwifery science (B.Sc), which offers a challenging academic education.
In close cooperation with the University Hospital Bonn and other renowned partners, the Faculty of Medicine offers a sound education in the field of midwifery practice. This practice-oriented education spans a standard period of study of eight semesters and enables graduates to competently practice midwifery in both clinical and practice-oriented settings.

The application period for the 2025 winter semester begins on February 1, 2025. The application deadline is March 31, 2025. If you have not yet received your university entrance qualification by then, the certificates available at that time will suffice for the time being.
