The delegation, led by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at St Andrews, Prof. David Crossmann, was welcomed by Dean Prof. Dr. Bernd Weber and the Medical Director of the UKB Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Wolfgang Holzgreve. During the visit, the delegations of the two universities discussed the status of current projects in an intensive exchange and discussed the expansion of the partnership in joint workshops. The focus here was on projects in family medicine and medical education, in the field of cardiovascular research, digital health and peri-implant infectious diseases and immune responses in orthopaedics and trauma surgery.
