How you can use our services

Step 1: Getting in touch
It is best to get in touch with us as early as possible. These are some of the points we should discuss:
- Scope of your project
- Nature of your samples
- Suitable methods to reach your goals
- Usage fees
Usually, it is possible to arrange a meeting at short notice. Please contact Marc Sylvester via masse@uni-bonn.de or by phone (+49 228 287-64744).

Step 2: Register for the general digital services of the BTC
Registration for the BTC is required only once and applies for all core units of the BTC. Make sure you read and agree to our terms of use.
Step 3: Prepare for submission of samples
You can announce your sample submission by sending us the mandatory sample submission form (also available in German). Please include all relevant information:

- name
- cost center (for UKB users only)
- on second sheet: sample number as written on the lid of the sample tube
- your corresponding sample ID
- species (also host species in case of heterologous expression)
Please refer to our FAQ to make sure that your samples are suitable.
We will arrange a time for sample sumbission. See Contact for directions to our facility.
