NovaSeq X Plus
The NovaSeq X Plus is the latest advancement in Illumina’s sequencing-by-synthesis technology. Designed for large-scale genomic studies, it delivers up to 16 Tb of data with 2 × 150 bp read lengths in just 48 hours per run. Its high throughput and efficiency make it an excellent choice for demanding applications such as population-scale sequencing and single cell sequencing experiments.
NovaSeq 6000
The Illumina NovaSeq 6000 is a powerful high-throughput sequencing platform based on sequencing-by-synthesis technology. With multiple flow cell options and read lengths ranging from 1 × 35 bp to 2 × 250 bp, it supports a broad spectrum of applications — including whole-genome and exome sequencing as well as transcriptomics. The system delivers flexible data output of up to 3,000 Gb and 10 billion reads per direction in just 48 hours, making it ideal for large-scale studies.
MiSeq
The MiSeq sequencer is Illumina’s benchtop solution for small-scale sequencing projects and the only system which allows read lengths of up to 2x300bp. It supports a wide range of applications, including small genome sequencing, targeted gene sequencing, and metagenomics (16S/18S/ITS). With the latest reagent version (v3), the MiSeq can produce up to 15 Gb of data, generating up to 25 million single reads at 2×300 bp read lengths. For smaller projects, the previous reagent version (v2) provides flexibilty in data output and budget to suit specific needs.
Aviti LT
The AVITI LT from Element Biosciences is a cost-effective, low to medium throughput sequencing platform designed for smaller-scale projects. The device can generate high-accuracy data outputs of up to 150 Gb and 500 M reads at read lengths ranging from 2 x 75 bp to 2 x 300 bp. This flexibility supports a wide range of applications from targeted sequencing to whole-genome sequencing, transcriptomics, and epigenetics.
PromethION 24
The PromethION 24 is a third-generation sequencing system that uses advanced nanopore sensing technology for high-throughput long-read sequencing of DNA and RNA. Capable of reading from 10,000 to over 100,000 bases, it supports genomic DNA, cDNA, RNA, and direct sequencing without amplification or reverse transcription, enabling epigenetic base modification detection. Each of the 24 independently operated flow cells can generate up to 290 Gb, totaling over 6 Tb of data at maximum capacity.
This enables a wide range of applications from whole-genome sequencing to targeted sequencing approaches, transcriptomics (direct RNA or cDNA), epigenetics, metagenomics and structural and splice variant detection.
Chromium X
The 10X Genomics Chromium X is a high-throughput single-cell partitioning platform that enables high-resolution genomics research at the single-cell level. Up to 160K cells from 8 samples can be processed on a singleplex microfluidic chip, with different options for sample multiplexing. A wide range of assays is available to support gene expression, open chromatin and multi-omics analyses. Depending on the assay, the system is compatible with samples from cell and nuclei suspensions, fresh and frozen tissue, FFPE and PFA-fixed tissue, flow-sorted cells, and organoids.
BD Rhapsody™ HT Xpress
The HT Xpress System from BD Rhapsody™ is a high-throughput single-cell analysis platform designed for large-scale multiomic studies. With its 8-lane cartridge and microwell-based capture technology, it can process up to 320,000 cells per cartridge and support up to 192 samples. It offers high cell capture efficiency, prevents channel clogging, and accommodates a wide range of cell types.
