3'-mRNA sequencing

3' mRNA sequencing targets the 3' end of transcripts, providing a cost-effective and efficient method for gene expression quantification. It requires lower sequencing depth and is ideal for large-scale studies where overall expression levels are prioritized over transcript structure or isoform analysis.

This service will be discontinued by the end of 2025.

full-length mRNA sequencing

Full-length mRNA sequencing captures the entire mRNA transcript, from the 5' cap to the 3' poly-A tail, offering a complete view of gene expression, transcript structure, and isoform diversity. This method focuses exclusively on protein-coding transcripts, enabling the detection of alternative splicing and novel isoforms, providing deeper insights into gene regulation. While more data-intensive and costly than 3' mRNA sequencing, it is ideal for studies requiring detailed insights into gene expression and regulation.

 Full-length total RNA sequencing captures the entire spectrum of RNA molecules, including both coding and non-coding transcripts, from the 5' cap to the 3' poly-A tail. This comprehensive approach provides a complete view of gene expression, transcript structure, isoform diversity, and non-coding RNA involvement. While more resource-intensive than targeted approaches, it offers deep insights into gene regulation and cellular processes, making it ideal for broad transcriptomic studies.
