With IMPULSE – House for Intellectual Innovation and Creativity, we are launching the IMPULSE-Focus Event Series, which in 2026/27 will be dedicated to the themes of Imagination/Memory.

As part of this series, we invite distinguished scientists, intellectuals, and artists to deliver public evening lectures, each complemented by an exploratory workshop at IMPULSE. The aim is to create space for inspiration and transdisciplinary exchange, and to stimulate new forms of collaborative research.

The first event will take place on March 18–19 and will feature Prof. Dr. Anna Abraham (University of Georgia), one of the leading international experts at the intersection of neuroscience, psychology, and creativity research. It will open with a public evening lecture on March 18 and continue with an exploratory full-day workshop on March 19 for PhD students and postdoctoral researchers (registration required via via: maria.ullrich@uni-bonn.de)
