How to transfer/receive data after full service imaging?
Depending on the infrastructure, the following data transfer options are available:

Requirements:
- You are a member of the Medical Faculty of Bonn University or University Hospital Bonn
- Your computer is connected to the research network.
Instructions:
- Microsoft Windows: Connect to the network drive by typing
\\isi2.ukb.uni-bonn.deinto the address bar of the file explorer. You will be ask for your login credentials. - Apple Computer: Connect to the network drive by typing
smb://isi2.ukb.uni-bonn.deinto the address bar of the file explorer. You will be ask for your login credentials.
Potential problems:
- If you cannot physically connect to the network drive, you might not be connected to the research network. In this case you cannot make use of this option.
- If you cannot login because of incorrect credentials use the following link to reset your password: https://cores-ldap.uni-bonn.de/lam/templates/selfService/selfServiceLogin.php?name=Cores-LDAP&scope=user
Requirements:
- You are a member of the Medical Faculty of Bonn University or University Hospital Bonn
Instructions:
- Book one of our anaylsis workstations via the booking system.
- Use the analysis workstation to connect to the network drive by typing
\\isi2.ukb.uni-bonn.deinto the address bar of the file explorer. You will be ask for your login credentials. - Connect an external harddrive to the USB port of the analysis computer.
- Download the data from the network drive to the external harddrive.

Instructions:
- Create a folder with the MCF-assigned project name in the cloud system.
- Share this folder (write access!) with the core manager.
- Set up write access to the folder for us, if not yet done during creation of the share.
- Inform us about the share.
- We will upload the data into your folder.
