Plasmid cloning
Generation of an AAV expression plasmid
Create custom AAV expression vectors for protein expression, gene knockdown, and gene editing experiments. You can combine a promoter with the transgenes and regulatory elements in an AAV expression plasmid, depending on your experimental needs.
Virus production
Preparation of adeno-associated viruses
Adeno-associated viruses with different serotypes are purified using either heparin column chromatography or iodixanol density gradient centrifugation. Following virus purification, a range of quality controls, including the quantification of the viral titer through quantitative PCR (qPCR), are performed. In addition to purified AAVs, non-purified preparations can be produced for in vitro testing.
